Goa Airport also known as Dabolim Airport, is located in Dabolim, i.e 4 km from Vasco da Gama. The state capital Panjim is 30 km from the airport. It is the main entrance of tourists in the region. At year 2017–18, the airport has handled over 7.6 million passengers. Further the passenger traffic is increasing every year at this airport.
The airport is spread over 688 hectares and serves around 130–140 flights daily. The terminal consist of has 75 check-in counters, 22 immigration counters for departures, 18 immigration counters for arrivals, 14 security check booths and eight customs counters.
