This route flight beats out the flight of Qantas that flies from Dallas (DFW) to Sydney with a distance of 18 miles. The departure segment is of 17 hours, 30 minutes, while the return is 15 hours, 40 minutes. United is using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to cover the distance.
